Programmation HIVER et PRINTEMPS 2024

L'activité se tient durant deux dimanches matins, entre 9h30 et midi. Pour débutants, sans expérience avec la poterie. Tous les cours sont bilingues.

Les participants viennent une première fois pour fabriquer des pièces (au tour à poterie et par façonnage), et ils reviennent deux ou trois semaines plus tard pour glacer les pièces (mettre la couleur). 

Dix groupes sont disponibles :

Groupe 1 - 14 et 28 janvier 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 2 - 21 janvier et 4 février 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 3 - 11 et 25 février 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 4 - 18 février et 3 mars 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 5 - 17 mars et 7 avril 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 6 - 24 mars et 14 avril 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 7 - 21 avril et 5 mai 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 8 - 28 avril et 12 mai 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 9 - 19 mai et 2 juin 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Groupe 10 - 26 mai et 9 juin 2024, de 9h30 à midi.

Maximum de 8 étudiants par cours. Il y a 4 tours à poterie, alors le temps sera partagé entre le tournage et des activités de façonnage. Chaque participant pourra rapporter 4 pièces terminées à la maison. Tout le matériel est les cuissons sont inclus. Les participants doivent revenir chercher leurs pièces terminées quelques semaines après le deuxième atelier. 

Les cours sont donnés au 95 chemin Colbert, Wakefield (Edelweiss), Québec. Un courriel de rappel avec des détails supplémentaires vous seront envoyés une semaine avant l'activité. 

Politique d'annulation :

• Vous pouvez obtenir un remboursement complet en cas d'annulation dans un délai de deux semaines avant la tenue de l'événement.
• Aucun remboursement n'est offert en cas d'annulation à moins de 2 semaines de préavis.
• Aucun remboursement n'est offert si vous ne pouvez assister à l'un des deux cours prévu. Le temps manqué ne peut être transféré à un autre groupe.
• En cas de mauvaise température, un des cours pourrait être reporté à un dimanche matin suivant.

WINTER & SPRING 2024 schedule

The activity takes place during two Sunday mornings, from 9:30am-12.  For beginners, with no experience with pottery. All classes are bilingual.

The participants come the first Sunday to make the pieces (on the pottery wheel and with hanbuilding techniques). They come back two or three weeks later to glaze them (color). 

Ten groups are available:

Group 1 - January 14 & 28, 2024, from 9:30-12.

Group 2 - January 21st & February 4, 2024, from 9:30-12.

Group 3 - February 11 & 25, 2024, from 9:30-12.

Group 4 - February 18 & March 3rd, 2024, from 9:30-12.

Group 5 - March 17 & April 7, 2024 from 9:30-12.

Group 6 - March 24 & April 14, 2024 from 9:30-12.

Group 7 - April 21st & May 5, 2024 from 9:30-12.

Group 8 - April 28 & May 12, 2024 from 9:30-12.

Group 9 - May 19 & June 2d, 2024 from 9:30-12.

Group 10 - May 26 & June 9, 2024 from 9:30-12.

Maximum of 8 students per group. There are 4 pottery wheels, so the time will be shared between throwing and handbuilding techniques. Each participants will bring 4 finished pieces back home. All materials and firings are included. Participants must come back a few weeks after the second session to get their fired pieces. 

Classes are given at 95 chemin Colbert, Wakefield, Québec. A reminder and other details will be sent by email one week before the activity.

Cancellation policy:

• You may cancel 2 weeks in advance of the class and receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made less than 2 weeks before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
• If you have to miss one class, no refund will be given. The missed class can't be transferred to another group.
• In case of bad weather, one class might be postponed on a subsequent Sunday.
